About this tool (Overview)
Single Dummy Solver samples unknown hands from visible cards plus HCP and shape constraints, then estimates trick distributions. It is useful in practical situations where complete information is unavailable.
How to use
- For North/South, choose Hand or Feature input mode and enter your constraints.
- For unknown hands, define HCP ranges, suit-length ranges, and shape type.
- After analysis, compare average tricks, game probability, and slam probability.
Glossary
- Balanced Hand
- A shape of 4333, 4432, or 5332. Whether it includes five major cards depends on the agreed rules.
- Semi-balanced Hand
- A hand with no shorts or seven-card suits, and typically without a six-card major.
